AT A GLANCE

As the Social Video Marketing Manager, you will play a pivotal role in our Audience Development Strategy, focusing on growing segmented chronic condition audiences through engaging video content. You will be responsible for developing and executing video strategies that resonate with our audience, drive engagement and maximize reach. 

Where You'll Be

To prioritize togetherness, culture, and accountability, RVO Health operates on a hybrid in-office work schedule. We expect employees to work from our New York office Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday each week. You are welcome to work remotely Mondays and Fridays if you wish.

What You’ll DoVideo Strategy & Audience Growth
  • Develop and execute comprehensive video strategies on YouTube and TikTok that leverages both long-form (in-depth storytelling, expert-led discussion, educational series) and short-form content (trend-driven, edu-tainment Shorts) to drive audience engagement and retention. 
  • Establish clear content objectives based on data-driven insights, SEO best practices and audience behavior to increase subscriber growth and video engagement. 
  • Analyze video performance data to derive actionable insights and refine content strategies 
Content Development & Execution
  • Ideate and oversee the production of high-performing long-form and short-form videos that align with audience development campaigns
  • Build treatment decks and video briefs that clearly communicate creative vision, storytelling approach and engagement tactics for campaigns and on-going video series 
  • Optimize scripts, thumbnails and metadata for the YouTube algorithm to enhance discoverability and engagement 
  • Work closely with video production teams to ensure high quality execution of video concepts
  • Stay ahead of health trends, viral content and social video platform best practices, proposing fresh socially native storytelling ideas
Collaboration & Leadership
  • Manage and mentor an Associate Content Creator, guiding their contributions to content ideation, scripting, production, editing and community moderation. 
  • Work cross-funcationally with video production, editorial, SEO, lifecycle and social media teams to ensure seamless content distribution
  • Stay ahead of the evolving best practices on YouTube and TikTok, testing new formats and innovate storytelling approaches to resonate with audiences and keep pace with competitors
What We’re Looking For
  • Proven expertise in video strategy for both long-form and short-form content, with a strong track record of growing and engaging audiences on YouTube and TikTok
  • Strong scriptwriting and storytelling skills, with experience developing compelling, data driven content
  • Deep understanding of SEO, audience psychology, and retention strategies to drive growth on YouTube and TikTok
  • Experience in health and wellness content creation and a passion for making complex health topics accessible and engaging
  • Ability to analyze performance metrics and translate data into actionable video strategies
  • Experience managing a team or mentoring junior creatives
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple projects and successfully meet deadlines
  • Basic understanding of animation tools like After Effects is a plus
  • Experience work in digital media, publishing or health-related industries a plus 

Pursuant to various state Fair Pay Acts, below is a summary of compensation elements for this role at the company. The following benefits are provided by RVO Health, subject to eligibility requirements.

  • Starting Salary: $93,600 - $110,000 
    *Note actual salary is based on geographic location, qualifications and experience
