Role Purpose

To support daily business and operational activities by following established processes and delivering accurate, timely, and high-quality results. The role requires a positive attitude, willingness to learn, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively with customers, team members, and stakeholders. You will contribute to operational efficiency, support continuous improvement efforts, and help ensure high-quality service delivery.

Role Overview

This role in the US Consumer Cards India Operations team supports daily business and operational activities to help ensure processes run smoothly and efficiently. The role involves performing routine tasks, maintaining data accuracy and records, resolving basic issues, and following established procedures. Working closely with team members, stakeholders, and other departments, the apprentice contributes to operational goals, supports process improvements, and delivers high-quality service while continuing to develop skills, knowledge, and professional capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Support & Execution

  • Daily Operations: Support day-to-day business and operational activities, ensuring tasks are completed accurately and on time.
  • Product & Service Support: Support an expansive and diverse array of products and services.
  • Task Management: Manage and prioritize multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Customer & Stakeholder Relations

  • Inquiry Resolution: Provide timely, professional, and effective support to customers, stakeholders, and team members by addressing inquiries, concerns, and resolving routine issues.
  • Customer-Centric Mindset: Maintain professionalism, a customer-focused mindset, and strong written communication skills in all interactions.

Data, Documentation & Reporting

  • Data & Records: Assist with data updates, record maintenance, and accurate documentation of activities and interactions.
  • Progress Tracking: Track progress, prepare status updates, and maintain project or task records.

Process Improvement & Collaboration

  • Collaboration: Collaborate and work effectively with team members, other departments, and stakeholders to support operational goals and improve processes.
  • Continuous Improvement: Contribute to process improvement initiatives and support change management efforts.
  • Change Implementation: Participate in training, testing, and implementation of new processes or system changes.

Risk, Compliance & Quality Assurance

  • Issue & Risk Escalation: Monitor processes, investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve routine problems, while assessing and escalating complex cases, risks, or concerns appropriately.
  • Compliance & Policies: Follow established policies, procedures, and compliance requirements, while maintaining up-to-date knowledge of organizational processes, policies, and services.
  • Performance Targets: Deliver a high standard of service and consistently meet performance, quality, and productivity targets to help achieve team goals.
  • Information Security: Ensure the security, confidentiality, and protection of sensitive information.
