Position Summary

ESBO (European Service Business Organization) is responsible for identifying, evaluating and discovering new opportunities within the digital media and advertising industry with the goal of crafting scalable services and businesses on top of the global footprint of European Samsung Smart TVs and mobile devices. The ESBO team is working to add new value for partners, advertisers, and agencies through its unique insights into TV viewership in the shifting media landscape.
About the Role:
We’re looking for a detail-oriented, collaborative, and forward-thinking individual to support our Yield function. In this role, you will report into our Yield lead and support the advertising sales team and partner teams, providing actionable insights and assisting in the execution of our yield strategy across EMEA. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and is eager to contribute to business growth through data-driven decision-making.

Role and Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the development and execution of the advertising yield strategy across EMEA, ensuring alignment with business goals.

  • Assist in defining and refining rate cards, including policies on pricing incentives and contributed rules.

  • Collaborate with ESBO Finance to adjust forecasts and ensure accurate financial projections.

  • Lead the creation & analysis of product and partner investment scenarios to support business goals.

  • Partner with Product teams to develop and refine metrics and reporting for internal and external partners.

  • Lead analytical support to senior leadership, identifying business growth drivers, risks, and opportunities.

  • Lead & assist in preparing long-term strategic yield plans and client upfronts with commercial leaders.

  • Support in client upfront framework negotiations and tracking.

  • Support the implementation of pricing and packaging strategies to achieve company goals.

What we need for this role

To be successful, you will possess the following skills and attributes:

  • A consistent record of relevant experience in Advertising Pricing function(s).

  • Attention to detail and ability to optimally prioritise and balance multiple projects

  • In-depth understanding of business processes related to Sales, Marketing, and Operations in the advertising industry

  • Familiarity with media, TV measurement

  • Sophisticated Excel skills are required, including a deep understanding of formulas, macros, pivot tables.

  • Experience working with Salesforce and SAP

  • Experience with statistical analysis/tools/SQL skills- a plus

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

What does success look like?

  • Collaborating on the quantification and contextualization of revenue and inventory opportunities across micro and macro dimensions to inform go-to-market strategies and real-time optimizations.

  • Assisting in the development and execution of pricing and packaging strategies to drive business growth.

  • Providing analytical analysis to the monetization strategy in partnership with Ad Sales, Partnerships, and Product teams
