With direction from the Manager of Sales Enablement, your responsibilities would include providing sales skills training through a combination of sales methodologies and sales processes, MaintainX sales tech stack training, and facilitating new hire progress through online and in-person training sessions. The XDR Onboarding Program Specialist would help identify challenges new sales BDR and SDR hires face on-the-job, and conduct skills gap analysis. They would recommend ways to increase productivity, improve ramp time and perform the initial 30-day reviews that would represent their progress through and final graduation from the ramp program.
What you’ll do:
- Own the new hire onboarding experience for the BDR and SDR teams and provide support, mentorship, and training through the first 4 weeks of employment
- Improve ramp time with practice sessions and by on training sales methodologies, process, soft skills, tech stack skills, and product / industry knowledge
- Work in collaboration with the BDR and SDR managers, and Enablement team members to organize both online and in-person training
- Conduct skills gap analyses to identify areas of improvement
- Listen to recorded / live calls, and document the use of sales process for future coaching
- Assist in producing digital educational material (e.g., BDR and SDR Sales Playbooks, LMS training videos, etc.)
- Monitor sales objectives and results and maintain updated records of training sessions
- Participate in performance reviews sessions with the respective BDR and SDR managers to discuss individual and team strengths and weaknesses in order to continuously improve training effectiveness
- Report on impact of training programs (e.g., sales achieved throughout training)
About you:
- Must possess a warm, engaging, credible and knowledgeable personality
- Minimum one (1) year experience working in SaaS (Software as a Service) as a BDR and/or SDR
- Experience as a quota-carrying Account Executive and/or Account Manager is a plus
- Experience in sales training and coaching is a plus (i.e. sales teaching, coaching and/or facilitation)
- Experience working with and ramping reps in a fast-growing sales startup environment
- Excellent knowledge of training methods as well as organizational change management expertise
- Strong working proficiency in Salesforce, Outreach, and Zoominfo, Chorus/Gong an asset
- Ability to write effective copy, instructional text, audio scripts/video scripts
- Experience with video creation considered an asset
