Interface between Deal Desk, Engineering & Operations
Work with Engineering and Deal Desk to create complete and accurate spec.
Review quote and customer drawings for accuracy.
View configuration for long lead time finished goods material and place order to generate demand accordingly
Verify order texts and drawings respective to quote and sales order and apply lead time
Determine if product will be made in the factory or in the modification center
Creation of BOM & Article Texts
Deviations and Clarification to Operations
Solve challenges with sales orders due to material and technical constraints
Apply technical product, Bill of Material, and Manufacturing Process knowledge in order to communicate customer order requirements to all departments through SAP
Assist the line with any questions or problems with jobs that are on the floor.
Set up material masters for new parts in SAP as required.
Research customer communications to determine root cause and corrective action.
Create and revise design engineering standards documentation.
Verify assembly work center and estimate router time for assembly.
Verify successful cost rolls of sales order BOM’s.
Work in a fast paced environment, adapt to assignment changes easily, ability to multi-task, learn office procedures and learn and use new software.
Must be detail oriented; communicate effectively via oral and written communications with all levels of employees, customers and vendors.
Ability to work through issues and seek answers to new requirements.
Ability to work with minimum supervision.
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field and/or four to six years of experience.
Must be able to read a Bill of Material. Strong knowledge with Microsoft Office products is required.
Product knowledge and blue print training is also required.
SAP experience is a plus.
