Workshop Supervisor: Job description
Introduction:
The Workshop Supervisor is responsible for the maintenance, repair, and operation of all mechanical equipment on the Yard. This includes engines, generators, compressors, pumps, hydraulic systems, and other related machinery. The Workshop Supervisor ensures the Yard systems operate safely, efficiently, and reliably.
He also ensures to provide good technical support for the projects upon request.1)
Role and responsibilities
· Conducting routine and preventative maintenance, diagnosing and repairing mechanical failures, and ensuring all equipment is in optimal working condition.
· Maintain the PMS updated
· Places all necessary materiel requests and follow-up.
· Ensures the continuous operation.
· Diagnosing complex mechanical problems and implementing effective solutions to minimise downtime
· Managing the stock of spare parts, tools, and equipment, ensuring adequate supplies are available for maintenance and repair.
· Maintain Safety & Security Standards of the machinery, equipment, and infrastructures.
· Ensure that maintenance teams respect good HSE practices and clean their work areas at the end of each shift.
· Exemplary on the Wearing of Mandatory PPE (Safety Shoes, Gloves, Coverall + Red Helmet).
· Exemplary HSE Behaviour & Educational Attitude towards All Users of the Site.
· Ready to Intervene in the event of an Emergency.
· Preparing maintenance reports, work orders, and other necessary documentation.

· Knowledge
· Good English Proficiency (International Environment).
· Chief Engineer or relevant experience in Offshore / Marine / Oil& Gas Maintenance.
· Proficiency using Microsoft Office editing tools (Word, Excel, Outlook).
· Proficiency in Planned Maintenance Software & Systems (PMS).
Skills Required
