Our Risk Management team is seeking a Working Student, Risk (f/m/d). This role will provide hands-on experience in Moss’s risk monitoring, controlling, and preventing risks. You will learn from the professionals with experience from leading banks and top-notch fintechs about best practices in risk management and card fraud.

In this role, you will support the team in managing risks daily; monitoring, measuring and mitigating risks, implementing risk controls, analyse data to prevent credit card fraud, and prepare risk reports. You will gain hands-on experience with various risk frameworks, risk control models, and data-driven decision-making; all while advancing your career in a dynamic, collaborative environment.

We are looking for someone who is interested in a working student role for at least 6 months (with a possibility to extend), starting immediately.

What you’ll be doing

No day is the same at Moss, but here’s an idea of what you could be doing day-to-day:

• You assist the team in creating, reviewing and updating risk management reports

• You support the team in managing credit risks, in particular in credit underwriting processes

• You review and conduct risk assessment on vendor management (third-party, outsourcing) requests

• You review and monitor process workflows to assess internal control execution and efficiency over time.

About you

We are looking for someone who:

• Has a genuine interest in risk management topics and is eager to learn and develop knowledge in risk management practices.

• Currently enrolled in the university in Germany, in Bachelor or Master studies, ideally focusing on Finance or similar field

• Is fluent in English (C1)
