WHAT YOU’LL DO
The Workforce Management Supervisor inspires and assists schedulers in creating weekly schedules and handling daily operational duties. Serving as a bridge between WFM Specialists and management, the supervisor embodies leadership. They ensure the adherence to department and property policies, practices, and procedures while successfully handling various tasks.
ROLE EXPECTATIONS
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
Cooperate with department schedulers and managers to guarantee precise staffing levels and devise strategies for enhanced efficiency.
Provide training and development opportunities to WFM Specialists, aiming to enhance both scheduling solutions and their personal advancement.
Discover fresh optimal approaches for maximizing staffing utilization while adhering to existing labor agreements and regulations.
Maintain commitment to ethical and equitable practices when handling WFM Specialists and addressing inquiries from different departments.
Assist the WFM Director in balancing the WFM Specialist’s workloads between weekly scheduling duties and daily operations.
Ensure the WFM team’s completion of daily schedule operations, such as leave requests, payroll corrections and call outs/shift replacements.
Assist with compendium management by opening/closing requisitions and working directly with Talent Acquisition, HR and FP&A.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position does not have any supervisory responsibilities
REQUIREMENTS
Minimum four years of scheduling in the hospitality industry with previous supervisory experience.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office software including Excel, Word, Teams, and Outlook.
Maintain composure under pressure and consistently meet deadlines with internal and external customers and contacts.
Work in a fast-paced and busy environment.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret schedules, shift bids and labor productivity reports.
At least 21 years of age.
PREFERRED
Previous experience with Kronos, Workday and Virtual Roster software.
CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Must be able to qualify for licenses and permits required by federal, state and local regulations.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Must be able to sit, stand or walk for extended periods of time with frequent bending, stooping, and lifting.
Must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 25 pounds unassisted in the performance of specific tasks as assigned.
Must have the ability to push, pull, reach, bend, twist, kneel and balance when performing job duties in varying work areas such as confined spaces.
WORKING CONDITIONS
Work is performed indoors in a climate-controlled environment and exposed to various environmental factors such as but not limited to noise, dust and smoke.
Close spaces while working with others.
PAY RANGE
The salary range for this position is $50,000 - $65,000 annual.
