The Workforce Analytics Specialist collaborates across Armanino’s businesses to shape our future workforce strategy. This position plays a key role in driving transformation initiatives with impact across all lines of business, enabling the firm to be nimble and execute on its priorities through effective workforce planning and resource management while at the same time ensuring appropriate governance.
 
Job Responsibilities

  • Design and build meaningful operational analyses to aid business decision-making, including hiring, promotion, leverage, trend and all manner of ad hoc analyses. 

  • Prepare headcount reporting packages, including variance analysis, metrics/KPIs, and data visualization. 

  • Design and build reports that help monitor performance relative to strategic goals and objectives. 

  • Assist in preparation of management presentations, including visual analytics.

  • Help build models in support of workforce planning and resource management optimization. 

  • Be the Key Subject Matter expert for Workforce Analytics and Data Governance for People Data.

  • Responsible for accurate data inputs into planning models.

  • Support leadership in partnering business units to develop and manage national workforce plan for FTEs, contingent roles, and alternate sourcing (BPOs) based on business and resource needs.

  • Own and maintain workforce planning models, incorporating productivity and workload scenarios.

  • Provide additional analytical support to the Transformation Office as needed.

  • Maintain productive partnerships across Talent, Finance, people team, and business units to serve as a trusted advisor on firmwide workforce planning activities.

  • Effectively communicate with your internal clients, the firm’s leaders. 

  • Work in a collaborative and fast paced environment. 

  • Document requirements and desired outputs for delivery.

  • Effectively gather and interpret internal/external data trends and insights to assess talent gaps, forecast needs and model future scenarios to inform leadership decision-making.

 
Requirements

  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret qualitative and quantitative workforce data and synthesize into meaningful and actionable results.

  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in workforce planning, FP&A, or other data analysis.

  • Serious expertise in MS Excel required, familiarity with finance/ERP platforms and forecasting/BI platforms. 

  • Experience packaging and communicating data to influential senior leadership.

  • Ability to articulate complex messages in a clear, concise way to a variety of audiences; calm under pressure and ability to pivot with unexpected challenges.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills, ability to solve new problems with innovative solutions.

  • Preference for workforce planning within a professional services-based environment.

  • Self-starter, able to formulate and conduct analysis with minimal supervision and get work done. 

  • Creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills. 

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
