Position Summary:
The Workforce Accommodation Specialist II will work closely with the employee, healthcare provider and employer to explore workplace accommodations that will assist the employee in performing the essential functions of their job.

Comprehensive management of ADA Accommodation lifecycle including: Initial Request, Medical Certification, Essential Job Functions, Interactive Process, Evaluation of RTW Accommodations, Employer’s Decision to Accommodate, Follow-up for Success, On-going Communication, System Tracking and Robust Reporting.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Evaluates requests for accommodations under the ADA.
- Manage a caseload of open accommodation requests.
- Responsible for engaging employees, medical professionals, supervisors, and HR Business Partners to assist employees with disabilities who require workplace accommodations.
- Documenting the employee’s request for accommodation and facilitating the interactive process between the employee and their employer to determine the most effective accommodation.
- Engage with medical vendors to clarify and validate the request for accommodation.
- Assist Employers with development of essential function job descriptions.
Duties and Responsibilities Continued:
- Stay current on both State and Federal laws and regulations surrounding the ADA and other relevant legislation
- Provide ADA specific education to employers and employees.
- Partner with the Job Accommodation Network (JAN) to explore effective accommodation options.
- Responsible and accountable for maintaining and protecting personal health information. Must maintain a high level of confidentiality and abide by HIPPA rules and regulations.

Education, Qualifications and Experience:
- BS/BA in Vocational Rehabilitation or similar field.
- Experience in one or more of the following areas: RTW Services, Labor Relations, Absence Management, Disability Claim Management, Project Management
- Experience with ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) and familiarity with FMLA (Family and Medical Leave Act).
- Analytical skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Sound facilitation skills.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently.
- Strong organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize work and multi-task.

The expected hiring range for this position is $45,120.00 - $56,410.00 annually for work performed in the primary location (Phoenix, AZ). This expected hiring range covers only base pay and excludes any other compensation components such as commissions or incentive awards. The successful candidate’s starting base pay will be based on several factors including work location, job-related skills, experience, qualifications, and market conditions. These ranges may be modified in the future.
Work location may be flexible if approved by the Company.
