The Workday Technical Lead will act as a technical expert responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining Workday integrations and technical aspects of the platform. This role requires knowledge of Workday tools such as Workday Studio, Core Connectors, EIBs, reports as a service (RAAS), Workday Extend, and Prism Analytics, as well as strong collaboration skills to partner with IT and business stakeholders for seamless integrations with downstream systems.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Design, build, and maintain Workday integrations using Workday Studio, Core Connectors, and EIBs.
- Develop, deploy, and maintain applications using Workday Extend.
- Configure and manage Prism for advanced reporting, data visualization, and data transformation
- Monitor and troubleshoot integration issues and new requirements, ensuring timely resolution and minimal business disruption.
- Configure and manage endpoints for secure and efficient data exchange.
- Develop and maintain Workday web services (SOAP/REST) for secure data exchange.
- Build complex calculated fields to support integration development and issue resolution
- Ensure compliance with security and data governance standards.
- Partner with functional teams to deliver actionable insights through Workday reporting tools.
- Work closely with IT teams to ensure accurate and efficient data transfer from Workday to downstream systems such as MuleSoft.
- Support integration testing and deployment in alignment with IT standards.
- Maintain technical documentation for integrations and reporting solutions.
- Ensure adherence to SOX, GDPR, and other compliance requirements.
- Support configuration and maintenance of Workday integration security roles.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related technical field preferred.
- 3+ years of experience with Workday integrations, Extend, Prism, and/or related technical expertise.
- Hands-on experience with Workday Studio, Core Connectors, EIBs, and web services.
- Experience with Workday integrations, Prism, Workday Extend, and advanced reporting tools.
- Strong understanding of XML, XSLT, and Workday data structures.
- Proficiency in REST/SOAP APIs and integration security protocols.
- Excellent verbal / written communication and collaboration skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
- Microsoft Office Suite programs (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Demonstrated knowledge of Workday foundational concepts including business objects, organizations, business process framework, business process and domain security policies.
- Workday certifications in Integrations, Reporting, or Extend preferred.
- Experience with API management and middleware platforms.
- Knowledge of compliance standards and data privacy regulations.
OTHER:
- Occasional travel to Atlanta and/or nearest local office for annual and mid-year team summits and other office events.

Pay Transparency Range:
Atlanta: full-time annualized salary range $120,000 to $150,000Chicago/Houston/Austin: full-time annualized salary range $130,000 to $160,000DC: full-time annualized salary range $135,000 to $165,000The salary offer will be contingent upon various factors, including but not limited to, relevant experience, internal equity, market data, job location, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
