Independently designs, develops, tests, implements, documents, and enterprise systems and technologies, including configuration, reporting, and security. Applies a general understanding of the enterprise systems and knowledge of business functions, technologies and processes to execute responsibilities.
What you will do
Designs, develops, and maintains applications and integrations by creating, managing, and executing business requirements, technical design documents, and test plans independently
Creates technical documentation and leads team through architecture reviews and code reviews.
Drives improvements and applies standards, processes, and procedures for applications systems and the development team output
Creates and implements effective metrics and monitoring processes
Acts as primary contact to support and improve the quality of work for the development team
Seeks continuous quality improvements for supported systems
Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Required:
Bachelor’s degree in arts/sciences (BA/BS) or equivalent education/ experience
4+ years of HCM Workday, ERP experience
4+ Workday Integration
Preferred:
Master’s degree in arts/sciences (MA/MS)
Skills & Abilities
Required:
Demonstrated ability to quickly learn new technologies
Advanced ability to solve complex problems, drawing upon creativity, experience, and multiple sources of information
Advanced interpersonal skills, including the ability to build consensus
Advanced communication skills, including the ability to communicate complex information in straightforward manner
Follows Change Management processes to promote changes to Production on approval from business. Manage a Release schedule for Workday development team.
Troubleshoot production issues, conduct root cause analysis. Part of rotation for on-call out of hours support.
Works with third parties and global vendors
Extensive Workday knowledge such as:
Workday Integrations. Workday Studio for creating and modifying integrations
Report Writing, BIRT Reports, RaaS reports
Creating and using Calculated Fields
Creating/Editing EIBs
Workday HCM - Solid understanding of HR business processes and concepts such as hiring, compensation, benefits, time off, performance management
Writing XML and XSLT
Experience with SOAP and REST Web Services, APIs, secure transmission of integrations
Must have some experience with automation, PECI, PICOF, Core Connectors, CCW
Agile Methodology and tooling
Migration between Workday tenants.
Mentors junior developers on best practices
Preferred:
ServiceNow, SQL, Java
Workday Extend
Workday Integration certification
Solid understanding of Payroll, including working with 3rd-party vendors like ADP.
Experience using Azure DevOps (ADO)
Experience with Workday Learning, Workday Recruit, Workday Payroll, Workday Advanced Compensation
Automation/Automation mindset
Knowledge of PowerBI and Snowflake
Experience with XML tools like Oxygen
Knowledge of CyberArk, Windows Servers, Server maintenance, scripting (eg powershell)
Experience with Postman or Bruno
Visio/Lucid chart for architecture diagraming.
Compensation Range:
$97,450 - $121,800

Compensation Range:
Base pay varies depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience and market location. In addition, RGA provides an annual bonus plan that includes all roles and some positions are eligible for participation in our long-term equity incentive plan. RGA also maintains a full range of health, retirement, and other employee benefits.
