About this Opportunity:
As an HRIS Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing the Workday HRIS at Orion. The HRIS analyst helps maintain the system, implements (process) improvements, ensures data quality, and analyzes and reports on the data in the HRIS. The HRIS analyst is also often the go-to subject matter expert for the system used in the organization. As we continue to evolve and live our Orion values, we are looking for someone to grow with us.
For External Candidates:
Candidates must work in-office at one of the following locations for at least 3 days per week: Omaha, NE, Hebron, KY, Sacramento, CA

In this role, you'll get to:

Be responsible for technology objectives of Human Resources and ensures they align to business goals

Serve as the system technical and subject-matter expert for HR Systems

Perform HR system configuration, testing, and validating results to meet business needs

Define, analyze, and document business processes, systems, and data to provide effective solutions
-
Design, develop, and maintain custom reports, dashboards, and analytics to provide accurate data, identify trends, and assist with decision-making
-
Design, develop, and maintain business processes to conform to general business policy and compliance
-
Perform technical research and system analysis to detect operational problems and recommend improvements to ensure optimal performance
-
Collaborate and align business requirements with HR systems including working cross-functionally with HR and other groups such as Finance and IT
-
Partner with HR subject-matter experts to enhance and support annual HR programs such as performance management, benefit open enrollment, and talent development initiatives

Be responsible for recommendations and testing semi-annual Workday Updates

Prepare design documents, program specifications, and process flow diagrams

Leverage understanding of Workday’s Core HCM, Payroll, Time and Absence modules, among others, to identify areas to support and improve processes in those areas

Manage a queue of support cases, prioritizing issues based on severity and customer impact
We're looking for talent who:

Has functional knowledge of HR business processes (benefits, compensation, payroll, performance/talent, recruiting, etc.)

Has experience with Workday
-
Has Workday configuration experience with Core HCM, Recruiting and Advanced Compensation modules

Workday Reporting experience

Troubleshooting and triaging reported system issues; finding solutions and facilitating resolution

Has minimum of a bachelor’s degree in business, computer technology, human resources, or related field

Obtains Orion Industry Certification

Has minimum of 2 years of experience working with cloud-based SaaS HCM systems (operational or administratively)

Owns and manages relationships with stakeholders directly and work effectively with people at all levels in an organization

Salary Range:
$69,723.00 - $105,276.00
The pay listed in this posting indicates the estimated pay at the time of this posting; however, may vary depending on geographic location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition, Orion offers a competitive benefits package which includes health, dental, vision, and disability coverage on day one, 401(k) plan with employer match, paid parental leave, pet benefits including pawternity leave and pet insurance, student loan repayment and more.
