The Workday Financial Administrator position is more than just a systems role, it’s a chance to elevate our ERP capabilities and drive innovation across our financial operations. In this position you will bring your experience to a collaborative, forward-thinking, innovative environment within Group 1001. You play a pivotal role in optimizing our Accounting and Finance ERP ecosystem and be a key partner to Accounting, Payroll, Finance, Accounts Payable, and FP&A driving improvements across the organization. You will provide strategic influence focusing on the high-impact modules of financial accounting, procurement, business assets, integrations and adaptive planning.
This position is designed to evolve and expand into additional financial systems and shape future initiatives. We look to this person to not just maintain systems but improve them with your insights to enhance performance, usability, and scalability. This is a remote position with minimal travel.
How You’ll Contribute:
- Configure, test, and deploy Workday business processes across Finance and Accounting
- Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues, conduct root cause analysis and implement solutions
- Build ad-hoc queries and reports using Workday’s reporting tools to support decision-making
- Maintain data integrity through regular audits and proactive monitoring
- Partner with IT to develop system enhancements and scalable solutions Interpret complex data sets from multiple sources to support financial analysis
- Lead and participate in system projects, upgrades, and new feature rollouts
- Provide training and support to Finance staff to ensure fluency in Workday and related systems
- Document policies, procedures, and system configurations within Workday
- Drive automation and process improvement initiatives across financial operations
What You'll Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in ERP-Finance systems, with deep expertise in Workday Financials
- Solid background and knowledge in accounting and finance principles
- Strong knowledge of modules including Financial Accounting, Procurement, Expenses, Business Assets, Integrations, and Adaptive Planning
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Workday certification preferred and experience supporting global financial systems is a plus
- Proven ability to collaborate across departments and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and data modeling skills
- High attention to detail and ability to manage confidential information with discretion
- Strong organizational and time management skills with a proactive, can-do attitude
Compensation:
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $110,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $145,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
