THE ROLE:
We’re looking for a detail-oriented Workday Finance Reporting Analyst to join Genius Sports and help drive reporting efficiency and insight across the business. In this role, you’ll design, build, and maintain a wide range of Workday reports and dashboards — from Advanced and Matrix to Composite and Discovery Boards — ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and usability for finance teams. You’ll work closely with cross-functional stakeholders to translate business requirements into impactful reporting solutions, while also supporting system upgrades, integrations, testing, and business change requests. With a focus on compliance, user experience, and continuous improvement, this is a great opportunity for someone who thrives at the intersection of finance, data, and technology.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
- 2+ years of relevant Workday experience.
- Design, build and maintain reports and dashboards within Workday including Advanced, Matrix, Composite and Discovery Boards to support the finance teams provide insights and analysis for decision making.
- Proficiency in Workday Reports, Composite, Advanced and Matrix reports, Dashboards and Discovery boards (Experience from similar Financial ERP’s will be considered)
- Report cataloguing and optimization to improve user experience
- Ensure data consistency and accuracy across all reporting solutions
- Work with cross functional teams to understand business requirements and solution the most appropriate Workday reporting output.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with fluency in English.
- Strong willingness to learn, collaborate, and continuously improve.
Outside of Reporting
- Help support business change requests all the way through to implementation into the production environment.
- Support system upgrades, integrations, and testing activities
- Create and maintain training and testing documentation (including test scripts and user manuals)
- Collaborate with the Finance Team to identify improvements in Workday Finance processes
- Other Ad hoc work as initiated or required.
