Job DescriptionNote: This role is onsite Bangalore where in person interview is mandatory. Applicable only for immediate joiners.
Title: Workday Extend Developer
Location: Bangalore
Scope of Work
1. Environment Setup
o Provisioning of the Workday Extend developer environment
o Configuration of tenant security, permissions, and deployment frameworks
o Enablement of DevOps processes (build/test/deploy pipeline)
2. Application Development & Deployment
Five applications to be delivered:
o UC1 – Work Schedule Management
o UC2 – TAF File Number Onboarding & Validation
o UC3 – Super Choice Forms & Validations
o UC4 – Higher Duty Allowance for Acting Managers
o UC5 – Position Attribute Management
Each application will include:
* Requirements validation
* Design and development in Extend Studio
* Unit and integration testing
* Deployment to non-prod and prod tenants
* Knowledge transfer to NAB's internal team
Workday Extend Vendor Skill Set
* Experience with Workday Extend (design, development, deployment)
* Strong knowledge of Workday Object Model and security frameworks
* Proficient in XSLT, JSON, XPath, REST APIs
* Experience with Workday Studio and Workday Web Services (WWS)• Familiarity with Extend UI components and custom business logic
* Skills in JavaScript (for client-side scripting in Extend apps)
* Basic knowledge of Java (for Workday Studio integrations)
* Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g. Git, Jenkins, or Workday-recommended workflows)
* Understanding of Workday tenant management (sandbox, preview, production)
* Ability to work in Agile delivery environments
