The myWorkday Team is seeking an Analyst to support the maintenance and enhancement of Great American’s Workday financial reporting solutions. This team focuses on partnering with key stakeholders within Finance, Human Resources, IT Services, and business leadership to continually improve business processes to fully utilize Workday functionality and build additional technology onto the Workday foundation. This is a collaborative team that works across all functional areas of responsibility as needed. This role will provide you with an opportunity to learn a leading ERP System and support business process transformation.
This position is open to fully remote applicants. Candidates local to the Cincinnati area will work on a hybrid schedule.
Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities
Develops and maintains financial reports (inclusive of composite reports) within the Workday ERP system to support business objectives and decision-making
Designs and implements efficient reporting solutions, including dashboards and ad-hoc reports
Provides ongoing support for Workday Financial Reporting & finance-related modules, troubleshooting issues and implementing enhancements.
Develops and maintains subject matter expertise in Workday Financial Reporting and Workday Financials
Partners with the business to understand business needs, gather/document business requirements, assess Workday feasibility and impact to other Workday configuration
Develop Workday and business functional expertise, including engaging in Workday’s ecosystem’s information sharing platforms e.g., Community, networking sessions, Pro Certifications, etc.
Supports Workday Prism configuration and testing
Builds and maintains relationships throughout the business and Information Technology departments.
Develop appropriate testing and change control documentation
Project Management for cross functional Workday initiatives
Performs other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in accounting, finance, business analytics, business technology or equivalent experience.
Field of Study: Finance/Accounting, Analytics, Business Information Technology, or a related discipline
Experience: 3+ years of related experience required; 2+ years of Workday Reporting / ERP, Configuration, or related disciplines preferred. Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Word & Excel)
Competencies: Communication (verbal and written), Proactive team player, Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks, Attention to detail, Continuous learning mindset, Technology Savvy
