About You

Are you a WordPress guru with a knack for leadership? We're looking for someone with a minimum of 5+ years of experience building complex WordPress applications and a strong understanding of the entire WordPress ecosystem. You'll be responsible for leading our team of developers in crafting beautiful, functional, and secure WordPress websites and applications.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to the WordPress development team
• Architect, design, and develop complex WordPress themes, plugins, and custom functionalities
• Ensure best practices for code quality, security, and performance optimization
• Collaborate with designers, project managers, and stakeholders to translate requirements into exceptional WordPress experiences
• Implement cutting-edge technologies like ReactJS for dynamic front-end development
• Oversee the use of version control systems (Git) and project management tools
• Foster a collaborative and high-performing development environment

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field (preferred)
• 5+ years of experience in advanced WordPress development
• Mastery of WordPress core functionalities, custom theme development, plugin development, and theme modifications
• In-depth knowledge of PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery
• Strong understanding of ReactJS and best practices
• Ability to write clean, well-documented, and standards-compliant code
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• A team player with a passion for innovation and growth
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects efficiently

• Experience with accessibility considerations and web standards
• Experience with data migration and manipulation
• Experience with headless WordPress setups
