JOB SUMMARY:
System expert with on-site WMS software and hardware. When not providing tech support for the system, this position will conduct normal teammate duties such as picking, packing, loading and unloading medical and surgical supplies from carriers, and in moving and storing medical and surgical supplies. Ensure the smooth flow of operations.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Executes job functions as a distribution teammate according to shipping and receiving schedules and operational demands.
- Provides support in areas including but not limited to TecSys, Scanners, and process improvement / optimization.
- Trains or ensures the training of new teammates or retrains existing teammates in job functions associated with TecSys and scanning hardware.
- Establishes or adjusts work to meet production schedules.
- Recommends measures to improve production methods, quality of product, and suggests changes in working conditions to increase efficiency of the warehouse.
- Analyzes and resolves work problems or assists teammates in solving work problems.
- Communicates with supervisors and or management team regarding system issues and day to day operations.
- Performs additional duties as directed.
