Role Overview

We are seeking a Warehouse Management System (WMS) Consultant with a strong foundation in supply chain operations and WMS implementations. While prior experience with Deposco WMS is a nice to have, candidates with experience in other WMS platforms (e.g., Manhattan, Blue Yonder, HighJump, SAP EWM, etc.) and a solid understanding of warehouse processes are welcome to apply. Training on Deposco-specific functionalities will be provided for suitable candidates.

This role requires a blend of technical aptitude and functional knowledge to implement, configure, and support WMS solutions tailored to our clients' business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and support WMS implementation and configuration projects, with a focus on Deposco.
  • Understand and analyze business, functional, and integration requirements to design appropriate WMS solutions.
  • Configure core WMS modules (Inbound, Outbound, Inventory, Returns, Picking, Shipping, etc.).
  • Collaborate with internal and client teams to develop custom logic using Deposco’s configuration and extensibility tools.
  • Support API testing using tools such as Postman and manage system integrations with ERP, OMS, TMS, and MHE/automation systems.
  • Write, review, and optimize SQL queries within relational databases (e.g., Oracle, MySQL).
  • Collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders during SIT, UAT, go-live, and post-go-live phases.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and resolve functional and technical problems.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.
  • Maintain high-quality documentation, including technical designs, test plans, and configuration records.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in WMS implementations or supply chain execution systems.
  • Strong techno-functional background in any WMS platform (Deposco experience is preferred but not mandatory).
  • Understanding of warehouse operations and workflows (receiving, picking, packing, shipping, returns, etc.).
  • Solid problem-solving and debugging skills.
  • Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases.
  • Experience with API testing tools and system integrations.
  • Excellent interpersonal, documentation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional and geographically distributed teams.

Nice to Have:

  • Prior experience with Deposco WMS and its configuration tools.
  • Experience integrating WMS with Goods-to-Person, AS/RS, or other automation technologies.
  • Exposure to OMS, TMS, or EDI messaging standards.
  • Experience working in Agile/DevOps environments.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

  • System Uptime / Availability – % of time the WMS is fully operational.
  • Order Accuracy Rate – % of customer orders shipped correctly.
  • Inventory Accuracy – Difference between system records and physical stock.
  • Picking Accuracy – % of orders picked correctly without errors.
  • Dock-to-Stock Cycle Time – Average time from receiving goods at the dock to being put away and available in the system.
  • Order Cycle Time – Time from order receipt to shipment.
  • System Integration Success Rate – % of successful ERP/WMS integrations without major issues.

Note:

  • We are open to candidates from any WMS or supply chain background who demonstrate the right technical and functional mindset. Suitable candidates will receive Deposco-specific training as part of their onboarding.
