The Leidos Digital Modernization Sector at Leidos currently has a career opportunity for a Windows Systems Administrator to work at Andrews Air Force Base in support of the AFNCR IT Services program.
Job Summary:
The AFNCR IT Services program provides support services for information systems for Headquarters Air Force (HAF), Air Force District of Washington (AFDW), Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD), Joint Chiefs of Staff, and other Air Force activities within the AFNCR, missions to include the Pentagon, Joint Base Andrews (JBA), Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling (JBAB), and other locations, leased spaces, and alternate sites. The major support areas required are: IT Operations and Maintenance; Plans, Projects, and Engineering (PP&E). The senior leaders and national defense missions that are supported require that the AFNCR operations never fail, resulting in a fast-paced, challenging, but also rewarding environment.
Primary Responsibilities:

Perform Windows server administration tasks.

Create automation scripts using PowerShell, SQL, Python and JavaScript.

Create patching reports.
-
Responsibilities related to maintaining production with reliable and stable operations that includes but not limited to understanding of Windows Services and Servers, Troubleshooting, and Windows Server communications.

Creat utility scripts to monitor CPU, RAM, and Disk Space usage on remote computers.
Basic Qualifications:
-
Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical discipline and 2+ years of overall related experience within in Information Technology environment, additional related years of experience is accepted in lieu of a degree.

Currently possess an active DoD Secret Security clearance.
-
Must hold current or obtain within 90 days of start date DoD 8570 IAT2 certification Security+ CE or higher.

Experience with Windows Sever administration and scripting.
Desired Qualifications:
-
MCSE certification.
-
ITIL training and/or certification.
-
Network knowledge and experience.
-
Exposure to Oracle and databases.
-
ITSM knowledge and experience, particularly with Remedy.

Pay Range:Pay Range $57,850.00 - $104,575.00
