How We Work?
Our team is called Windows Delivery, there are ~10 people working on testing and releasing the GEN stack clients you may know under names such as Avast Antivirus (Free/Premium), AVG Antivirus (Free/Internet Security), N360, etc. So we test, automate and release most of the time.
Mission and Goals:
Your ultimate goal will be to maintain and improve existing automated Microsoft Windows Hardware Quality Labs (WHQL) certification test procedure and related signing process.
Objectives:

To analyze the current approach, state and test automation behind
-
To identify, prioritize and process gaps and improvements to be made
-
To execute the tests on regular basis, provide results and address any issues found (together with the team)

To prepare new and maintain existing testing environment

To cooperate and communicate with people around
Competencies:
-
Practical experience with software testing under the Microsoft Windows platform 3+ years.
-
Practical experience with scripting/programming in Python 5+ years.
-
Practical experience with Microsoft WHQL procedure and Hardware Lab Kit studio 2+ years.
-
Practical experience with version control system (Git is a plus).

Practical experience with testing on virtual environment.

Critical & creative thinking and precise observation abilities.
-
Great abilities to express something to someone in spoken as well as written form.

Advanced level of MS Windows OS knowledge (ARM architecture is a plus).

Basic knowledge of networking.

English language in written and spoken form.

Be self-reliant but also be a team-player.

Be able to accept different opinions and different cultures.
