Responsibilities:
- Own the participant recruitment strategy for WHOOP Labs Doha, including development of: a “top of funnel” community outreach plan to build a participant panel; a participant incentive / compensation program; and participant communication templates for study scheduling
- Lead session schedule creation and study recruitment efforts for WHOOP Labs Doha, collaborating with the research execution team to ensure the right participants are recruited for each initiative and that study needs are coordinated across both research sites (Boston and Doha)
- Build relationships with other teams across WHOOP (e.g. marketing) that can support your strategic vision through material creation and outreach activities
- Own end-to-end planning and execution of in-person activations to represent WHOOP Labs and recruit for the panel; coordinate participation of other staff for community outreach activities where appropriate
- Grow and manage a network of local partnerships in Doha to create new, high-impact relationships with like-minded organizations and community leaders
- Establish yourself as a strong voice for research participants and Lab practices, ensuring research is inclusive and accessible for participants to support demographic diversity in study samples
- Conduct regular research with existing participants and new groups to identify opportunities to improve recruitment and retention of participants
- Monitor panel health metrics (e.g. engagement, retention, conversion) and report progress regularly
- Reports to the Associate Director of WHOOP Labs Doha
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university
- 3+ years of experience with research operations, community engagement, public relations, or a related field
- Prior management of a customer/user/participant panel preferred
- Deep knowledge of local culture and ability to thoughtfully communicate localization considerations for recruitment at WHOOP Labs Doha
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills, ability to plan ahead while still being flexible and able to work around challenges
- Strong networking and collaboration skills, with experience in building partnerships and engaging with external stakeholders
- Interest in connecting with new people and organizations, and willing to lead cold outreach to support recruitment efforts
- Strong attention to detail
- Understanding of branding and marketing as it applies to research in industry spaces
- Proficiency in written Arabic to ensure screeners are available in both Arabic and English
- Fluency in verbal and written English, WHOOP’s working language
