The position is responsible for day-to-day analytics across multiple product lines, business monitoring and reporting responsibilities supporting new and existing customers. The role is responsible for all stages of pricing from rate quotes to production. This position is within a small, dynamic group within Comcast and is well suited for someone comfortable with rolling up their sleeves and digging into their work.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Perform various types of analysis to help create value in price points and market tactics in order to maximize margin opportunities that support the BU's strategic pricing initiatives
- Tracker of day-to-day financial performance across assigned customer base and proactively keep all stakeholders up-to-date on important financial shifts in the business
- Provide accurate, timely, and complete assessment of significant swings in traffic
- Load rate sheets into all required systems and tools to ensure proper and accurate billing of customers
- Clearly define risks and opportunities within deal structures so that the BU can make informed decisions
- Responsible for reaching out to customer accounts and conduct quarterly reviews of financial and technical trends as well as managing invoice disputes
- Create and communicate the best sets of reporting to successfully track financial performance at varying levels of granularity
- Develop models to analyze COGS improvement programs
- Develop models and tools to ensure optimal revenue/margin mix and appropriate "what-if" modeling to drive final customer pricing
- Support pricing and margin analysis across the IP Data and CDN portfolio, including paid peering, CDN delivery, and video edge cache, with responsibility for per port and per Gbps economics across backbone ports, regional delivery ports, and wave transport
- Model capacity-based deal constructs common to peering and CDN renewals, including tiered port pricing, committed capacity and take-or-pay minimums, prepay discounts, 95th percentile billing, and quantify revenue and margin impact under base and downside cases
- Partner with Finance on cost treatment for edge infrastructure, including capex and depreciation allocation for CDN and edge cache hardware, so reported margin reflects fully loaded cost
Business Intelligence / Reporting:
- Aid in the collection of competitive intelligence through customer interactions and competitor price lists to support decision making
- Develop, communicate and deliver management reports on a regular basis
- Provide ad hoc reporting to business leaders as needed on all aspects of the business
- Provide administrative support, verbal status updates and analytical reporting as required
Key Performance Indicators:
- Accuracy of the Data Input into the Pricing Tools
- Accuracy of the pricing against actual purchase price
- Accuracy of the technical information passed through to the Sales Team
- Volume of pricing decks managed per month
- Accuracy of port-level and Per-Gbps margin views used in peering and CDN renewal pricing
Key Competencies:
- 2+ years in Wholesale Voice, IP Transit, peering or CDN pricing preferred with experience managing both US Domestic and International Voice Termination accounts, including rate sheet development, forecasting, and bill dispute resolution
- Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Candidate must have demonstrated experience interacting with all levels of management and be comfortable interacting with customers
- Expertise in Excel, database applications and other analytical tools used for modeling, report creation, and trend forecasting
- Strong attention to details and solid analytical skills coupled with the ability to aggressively manage deadlines and goals
- Effective communicator and team member who actively promotes positive working relationships
- Ability to handle ambiguity, juggle many tasks at once and quickly shift from one situation or task to another
- Must be self-driven, possess a strong business ethic and thrive in a dynamic and changing environment
- Proven track record in operating effectively in highly complex team-oriented environments
- SQL/Python knowledge and functional experience with report automation is preferred

Salary:
Colorado Pay Range: $79,228.88 - $118,843.32
