About the team and position
This individual contributor role supports wholesale initiatives by analyzing vehicle history, specifications, and market data to provide accurate valuations and seamless transaction experiences. Key responsibilities include preparing vehicle appraisals, interacting with customers to confirm details and present cash offers, auditing listings for accuracy, and monitoring performance metrics to identify areas for improvement. The role also facilitates the completion of vehicle transactions, ensuring efficiency and compliance with company standards.

What you’ll be doing
- Review vehicle history and market value data from multiple sources; understand, research, and assess vehicle specifications and conditions, including subsequent costs involved with repair.
- Prepare accurate used vehicle appraisal and record relevant information necessary to support a valuation analysis.
- Interact directly with customers by phone, email, or text, to confirm the accuracy of information obtained and tender an offer to the customer.
- Monitor performance metrics related to acquired inventory, and identify problems, solutions, and opportunities for improvements.
- Audit inspection listings to ensure accuracy and compliance with company standards.
- Facilitate the finalization of transactions for vehicles that have undergone repricing, ensuring a seamless and efficient process for both Carvana and its customers.
What you should have
- 2+ years of customer service experience
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Strong organization and analytical skills
- Ability to communicate and interact with others effectively in a professional, courteous manner
- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
- Ability to sit, and work on a computer, for up to eight hours per day
- Ability to work variable schedule(s) as necessary
