Job Description
Wholesale Lending Services (WLS) serves Asset & Wealth Management, the Consumer & Community Bank and the Commercial & Investment Bank as an integrated partner, delivering end-to-end product support for syndicated and bilateral loan operations. We utilize our deep industry knowledge and unrivaled experience to help clients navigate federal regulations, ensuring compliance at origination, funding and throughout the life of the loan.
Currently present in over 30 locations, WLS is planning an expansion into Buenos Aires and is looking for an active manager that can execute this strategic initiative and manage the functions in scope. The initial plans include the buildout of the 3 verticals: Real Estate and Collateral, Loan & Agency and Specialty Products, and Originations and Loan Trading Operations. As a Vice President, you will have a proven track record of managing high-performance teams in complex operational environments, while maintaining strong partnerships with global operational teams and LOBs.
As the Senior Associate within Wholesale Lending Services, you will have a proven track record of managing high-performance teams in complex operational environments, while maintaining strong partnerships with global operational teams and LOBs.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Oversee one of the teams of the WLS verticals in Buenos Aires ensuring full alignment with global functional partners and stakeholders
  • Manage daily activities and responsible for the disciplined delivery
  • Run the resourcing and activity coverage within the team
  • Monitor delivery through key performance indicators
  • Execute an effective control environment within the team and build partnerships with key control stakeholders
  • Implement process improvement and share best practices
  • Attract, develop and retain high quality talent, and deliver strong performance management

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills:
  • Bachelor's degree or comparable work experience in financial services required
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in operational roles, and a minimum of 2 years as a manager
  • Experience in executing hiring and appropriate team resourcing
  • Proven ability to oversee and collaborate with multiple teams and diverse stakeholders

Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills
  • Wholesale loan operations experience a plus
  • Internal Stakeholder Management - Establishes productive working relationships with internal stakeholders to drive mutually beneficial outcomes; Communicates clearly and often with internal stakeholders, keeping them involved and informed on relevant actions and impacts; Ability to modify approach based on understanding of stakeholder needs and preferences.
  • Continuous Improvement - Applies innovation and design thinking techniques to continually assess and improve the efficiency, scale, and resilience of our operating platform.
  • Communication/presentation - Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Problem Solving Skills - Solid critical thinking, attention to detail and diagnostic skills
