POSTION TITLE: COATINGS
DEPARTMENT: Wet Paint
REPORTS TO: Supervisor, Production
HOURS/SCHEDULE: Monday through Thursday, 5:00am to 3:30pm
*overtime available during high product demand times
HOURLY/SALARY STATUS: Hourly/Non-Exempt
POSITION OVERIVEW:
The Coatings position is responsible for loading and unloading parts on the Wet Paint line, painting parts, assembling painted parts, and packing and palletizing the finished product.
DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Load and unload parts on the Wet Coat line.
- Paint parts
- Assemble painted parts, including packing and palletizing the finished product
- Set up and maintain a clean and well-organized and safe work environment in accordance with 6S.
- Utilize basic hand tools
- Maintain accurate counts and inventory of product at workstation
- Understand and adhere to product acceptability and quality requirements
- Perform quality work checks to ensure the product meets quality standards and identify product defects

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Lift, carry, push and/or pull 1-50 lbs. consistently and assist with team lift for 51+ lbs.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, twist and reach overhead for up to 10 hours per day
- Requires ability to work in extreme heat on occasion
- Must wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required

Skills Required
