Job Summary:
We are seeking a Supply Chain professional with a strong background in SC process improvement, capability building and supply chain finance to drive the transformation of our footprint in emerging markets to become a competitive advantage for our company.
The main goal of this position is to support the volume growth planned in our Emerging markets 10yr strategic plan in a profitable way delivering gross savings.
Size of WEEM $2B NSV with 10 Manufacturing hubs supplying the region. Ambition of 10Year plan is to double the business in EM.
Key responsibilities:
- Propose footprint changes on the current network of manufacturing, sourcing & physical distribution to unlock volume growth drive cost efficiencies across the zone.
- Drive footprint simplification aligned with zone goals & setting base for future manufacturing hubs to maximize capacity utilization.
- Provide visibility on all Footprint initiative that support the Zone Big bets.
- Develop scenarios & drive decision making by liaising with SC Finance & developing business case financials linked with the zone Big bets.
- Identify opportunities & propose projects for long-term structural changes to Upstream Sourcing & Crop management.
- Deliver feasibility analysis on right SC network design in new markets we want to enter as a part of Geo- Whitespace. Work closely with global network design & Zone SC Finance.
- Support sprints of 3Yr strategic plan on capacity gap closing initiatives across the zone.
- Validate & provide recommendation on AOP Capex plan to zone SC finance.
- Develop roadmap of long-term capacity planning into IBP process for every country.
- Build supply chain resilience strategy to ensure business continuity in case of disruptive events.
Requirements
- Education: Master's degree by education and/or experience
- Work Experience: 10+ years of experience in supply chain management with at least 3 years in leadership roles, preferably in PM, Supply Chain finance, Integrated planning
- Knowledge:
- Understanding of different industries, businesses, especially FMCG
- Experience within Operations, Procurement, Finance
- Strong commercial knowledge and knowledge of related processes, tools and competences
- Program and project management
- Team leadership skills
- Proven track record to explore and develop innovative ideas for process challenges
- Knowledge on continuous improvement programs
- Large international experience, working with different people
- Language Knowledge: You work in a multinational team in which English is the business language. Other languages are bonus.
- Flexibility to travel to above list of countries.
