Our Marketing department focuses on building and promoting the W&D brand to ensure that everyone understands the benefits of W&D. Our specialized marketing experts collaborate to provide excellent service internally and externally. Our specialties include Brand & Content, Creative, Marketing Strategy & Planning, Digital (Web, Email and Advertising), PR/Social Media, and Operations and Analytics.

The Impact You Will Have 

As a Web Coordinator you will be responsible for the development, maintenance, and optimization of websites. This role is part of Walker & Dunlop’s digital marketing team and reports to the Senior Digital Marketing Manager.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development, testing, and optimization of websites and marketing landing pages under the guidance of senior team members.

  • Support website update requests from marketing teams and business stakeholders, ensuring timely and accurate implementation.

  • Implement basic search engine optimization measures and follow best practices for accessibility and compliance, with mentorship from senior staff.

  • Coordinate communication and collaboration with external service providers and technology vendors under the direction of senior team members.

  • Monitor and report on website performance metrics (e.g., traffic, user engagement) and suggest improvements in collaboration with senior strategists.

  • Collaborate with the content and design teams to ensure that web content is aligned with overall branding and marketing strategies.

  • Ensure websites are mobile-friendly and optimized for different devices, under the supervision of senior team members.

  • Stay updated on digital marketing trends and share relevant insights with the team to contribute to continuous improvement efforts.

  • Assist in troubleshooting website issues and work closely with technical support teams to resolve problems affecting site performance.

  • Document website processes and updates to help maintain consistency and support knowledge sharing within the team.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • Attendance is generally 8:30 am – 5:30 pm EST Monday through Friday with the ability to work up to 2 of those days remotely

Education and Experience 

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent working experience.

  • 2-3 years in digital marketing

  • Experience in developing/updating website content preferred
     

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities 

Successful candidates will have shown a sustained record of accomplishment and excellence, in addition to the following:

  • Ability to collaborate with a team remotely.

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.

  • Strong organizational and time management skills.

  • Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to adapt to changes.

  • Experience working with website content management systems (e.g. Webflow).

  • Experience working with web analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager).

  • Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and Javascript highly recommended.
