We work at the intersection of product development, communications, marketing, engineering, and research—delivering cohesive storytelling and brand experiences.

Within this mission, the Web and Digital Experience Team plays a critical role in creating, managing, and scaling web and digital programs that reflect OpenAI’s brand and global objectives, fostering company-wide collaboration and innovative solutions.

 About the Role

We are seeking a Web Executive Producer, to lead and orchestrate complex web and digital initiatives that strengthen OpenAI’s online presence. In this role, you will develop strategies, drive project execution, and ensure seamless coordination between cross-functional teams, including design, development, engineering, communications, and external partners.

You will be responsible for managing the full lifecycle of digital projects—ranging from global website revamps to innovative digital experiences—while ensuring alignment with OpenAI’s brand, scalability needs, and user-centric values.

In this role you will:

• Develop and execute strategies for large-scale web and digital programs aligned with OpenAI’s global objectives.

• Identify and prioritize digital initiatives that enhance user engagement and brand presence.

• Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment between design, development, engineering, and communications.

• Manage internal and external stakeholders to drive project clarity, efficiency, and timely delivery.

• Oversee the globalization of OpenAI’s digital platforms, ensuring content scalability, localization, and adaptability across diverse markets.

• Implement infrastructure strategies that ensure high performance, reliability, and security at scale.

• Stay at the forefront of digital trends, leveraging emerging technologies (including AI) to create innovative web experiences.

• Collaborate with design and development teams to deliver high-quality, on-brand digital products.

• Establish and maintain project management best practices, ensuring clear communication, transparency, and accountability.

• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), using data-driven insights to optimize web strategies and user engagement.

You might thrive in this role if you:

• Have demonstrated experience in leading digital/web programs with cross-functional teams in a fast-moving environment.

• Possess deep knowledge of web infrastructure management, including reliability, scalability, and security best practices.

• Are proficient in project management tools (e.g., Asana, JIRA, Trello) and familiar with content management systems (e.g., WordPress, Contentful).

• Understand web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and can effectively communicate technical requirements and solutions.

• Have a proven track record of globalizing digital platforms—ensuring localization, accessibility, and cultural relevance.

• Excel in information architecture (IA) and content strategy, focusing on user-friendly navigation and content delivery.

• Utilize web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics) to drive data-informed decisions and improvements.

• Are passionate about innovative web design and leveraging AI technologies to enhance digital experiences.

• Bring excellent communication skills, enabling you to translate complex ideas into clear action plans.

• Have experience managing teams or vendors to execute large-scale digital projects.
