Position Overview:The wear Products Specialist is responsible for the introduction and sales of all ground-engaging tools to existing accounts. This position has accountability for the growth of aftermarket Finning GET products and services sold to an assigned customer base. Using a consultative selling approach, this person will build profitable long-term customer relationships by selling products and services to support the management of the customers’ fleet, consequently maximizing productivity and reducing downtime and cost per hour.
Job Description:
- Responsible for measurement of undercarriage wear on full fleets of Support equipment for both Suncor and Fort Hills sites.
- Requires mine driving and coordination with onsite teams for accessing the units in mine as well as the shop locations.
- Utilizing wear measurement tooling, including ultrasonic to input directly into CWMS system.
- Achieve profitable wear parts revenue based on corporate and territory targets.
- Evaluate customer needs, promote and sell wear products to meet those needs, and provide quality solutions to address customers’ needs.
- Develop and maintain client information and data utilizing Finning (Canada)’s CRM software and Product Improvement Program (PIP) to enable accurate market intelligence, pricing, estimates, and customer satisfaction.
- Prepare accurate and timely forecasts, pricing, estimates, and market intelligence of wear parts revenue targets for the assigned customer base to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Establish appropriate targets, goals, and objectives that are aligned with corporate strategy.
- Ensure all sales documents and customer agreements are completed consistently, accurately, and timely.
Qualifications:
- Previous sales experience is an asset.
- Undercarriage product experience would be considered an asset.
- Proven sound mechanical or technical knowledge.
- Excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills.
- An exceptional track record of customer coverage.
- Proficient in MS office package.

- This position is on a 7x7 shift rotation based out of Fort Hills and Suncor
