Join us as a Wealth Planning Associate
Wealth Planning Associates are responsible for supporting Wealth Planners in their daily and long-term tasks. Wealth Planning Associates also work directly with the Relationship Management and Wealth Planning teams to help build and deliver proactive and integrated wealth planning collateral and insight to the firm’s current and prospective Private Banking clients.
Key Responsibilities Include:
Maintain miscellaneous wealth planning inventories and organize outstanding items for long-term team planning strategies.
Provide support to Wealth Planners by reviewing and summarizing planning documents, preparing materials for client presentations, and analyzing complex planning issues.
Serve as a trusted advisor to Private Banking clients by constructing creative and technically sound solutions for various client needs.
Independently manage workflow from Relationship Management teams and communicate expectations and timelines to Wealth Planning team.
Collaborate with centers of influence to strengthen relationships, build referral networks, and provide consistent communication on shared client matters.
Assist Wealth Planners in the preparation of articles for publication.
Work with Wealth Planners, regional trust heads, team leaders, and event planners across Private Banking to support client services and business development opportunities.
Actively contribute to and support a positive, energetic, and team-oriented work environment.
Qualifications:
5 + years of experience in the wealth management industry. Experience working with high-net worth individuals and families is a plus.
CFP® designation or desire to pursue designation preferred.
Experience with eMoney is required.
An understanding of estate planning techniques appropriate for high-net worth clients.
Interest and general knowledge of general financial planning concepts.
Experience preparing materials to illustrate client estate plans and financial planning analysis.
Familiarity with Excel, PowerPoint, Visio.
Ability to multitask and independently problem solve.
