Your new role...
Warner Bros. Discovery Sports has a fantastic opportunity within the sports team in Hilversum in the role of Executive Producer for fight sports, working for our Eurosport channels and our premium streams on Discovery+ and HBO Max.
In this role you'll oversee the production of our UFC content across all of our platforms and also have the opportunity to work on major sporting events such as the Paris 2024 Olympics, the biggest cycling races, and Grand Slam Tennis.
Sporting events can take place in the evenings and weekends which means flexible working hours. During these productions, it is highly desirable to be present in our office in Hilversum Media Park.
Your Role Accountabilities...

• Responsible for the content of the local Eurosport UFC productions
• Developing and implementing editorial strategies with a strong focus on MMA/UFC
• Creating running orders for the (studio) broadcasts and making sure everyone knows exactly what is expected from him/her
• Ensuring consistency and uniformity across all our platforms
• Work closely with editors and other (international) team members and ensure that the content meets our high standards and the expectations of our viewers
• Managing the editorial team, freelancers and external production companies
• Managing and optimizing the production budget

Qualifications & Experience...

• Sports enthusiast with broad sports knowledge and interest but with a passion for martial arts
• Extensive editorial experience, preferably as a sports editor-in-chief
• Perfect command of Dutch and English, both spoken and in spelling and style
• Able to provide constructive feedback and make the people you work with better
• You are creative and a connector and can work well and effectively in a team
• Confidence, with the ability to make decisions in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of MMA sports is key and Cycling is an advantage
• Experience with editorial tools and video editing software
