Who will you be working with?
This group collaborates closely with assembly, materials, logistics, and leadership teams to keep workflows running smoothly and without interruption. As a Waterspider, you will play a key role in maintaining the pace of production by ensuring operators have the materials, tools, and resources they need exactly when they need them.
How will you make a difference?
As a member of the Operations/Materials Support team, you will be responsible for ensuring continuous material flow to designated production areas. You will support operators on the line by delivering components, replenishing supplies, and maintaining visual inventory systems. This role is essential to minimizing downtime, preventing bottlenecks, and helping the team meet production goals. You will communicate frequently with material handlers, supervisors, and team leaders, reporting inventory issues promptly and supporting the overall efficiency of the line.

- Do you have experience in manufacturing, material handling, warehouse operations, or assembly?
- Can you work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities?
- Can you read and follow work instructions, labels, and material documentation?
- Do you have experience with basic computer systems, scanners, or inventory software?
- Do you have strong communication and teamwork skills?
- Do you have a forklift or material handling certification?
- Do you have a high school diploma or GED?
What will your typical day look like?
- Deliver materials, components, tools, and supplies to operators based on production needs
- Replenish Kanban, bins, or point-of-use inventory following established processes
- Communicate material shortages or discrepancies to Supervisors or Materials team
- Maintain accurate counts, labeling, and organization of materials
- Support housekeeping and 5S activities in assigned areas
- Assist operators when needed to keep workflow moving and reduce downtime
What about the physical demands of the job?
- Frequent lifting up to 20 lbs, carrying, or pushing materials (weight varies by site requirements), sitting, walking, reaching outward, reaching up, squatting, bending
- Occasional climbing, crawling, lifting more than 20 lbs, exposure to heat, exposure to cold, exposure to dust
You may also be asked to perform other duties outside of your function or trade, for which adequate training will be provided if necessary.
The hourly rate for this role is in the range of $20.00 - $23.00 per hour.
