Overview & Responsibilities
To receive, stock, issue, pack and ship material.
Responsibilities
Observes all safety rules.
Receives instructions from supervision.
Retrieve, read and follow proper processes/work instructions as necessary.
Fills out preventative maintenance check list.
Maintains good housekeeping.
Works inside and outside as required.
Use blueprint drawings and computers as necessary.
Responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy throughout the entire process.
Receive:
Unload trucks manually.
Obtain paperwork off shipment, verify paperwork matches shipment and sign documentation.
Remove items from packaging, dispose of waste.
Use ERP system to receive proper inbound shipment.
Store:
Store items per appropriate procedure/work instruction.
Use ERP system to locate items
Pick/Issue:
Pick parts on pick list per appropriate procedure/work instruction.
Use ERP system to issue.
Internal Ship:
Deliver parts to proper staging area, including but not limited to tool crib.
External Ship:
Prepare and package parts for final shipment following appropriate procedures/work instruction.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent.
Must be able and willing to work 1st (7am-3pm), 2nd (3pm-11pm) and 3rd (11pm-7am) shifts. Shifts are not guaranteed and are subject to shift realignment.
Must be able and willing to work overtime, weekends and holidays.
