Runwise is seeking a Warehouse Operations Manager to lead day-to-day warehouse execution, procurement coordination, and inventory operations across our growing field services organization. This is a critical management role responsible for translating strategy into execution—owning warehouse performance, people management, and process discipline while partnering closely with senior operations leadership.

THE TEAM

Runwise (www.runwise.com) is a fast-paced, customer-focused climate-tech startup that controls and runs the key energy systems (heating, cooling, water, etc…) in 8000+ buildings throughout the US. Runwise’s unique hardware and software service significantly reduces energy usage, substantially lowering costs and carbon output. As of today, Runwise’s technology takes the equivalent of 100,000 cars worth of carbon emissions off the road each year. Runwise is headquartered in New York City with established markets in Chicago, Boston, and Washington D.C.

You will directly manage warehouse associates, procurement specialists, and/or area managers, serving as the primary operational owner beneath senior leadership.

This role requires someone who is hands-on but systems-minded—comfortable on the floor when needed, but focused on building scalable processes, standard work, and accountability as Runwise continues to grow.

You will work cross-functionally with Field Operations, Scheduling, Onboarding, Logistics, Engineering, Product Management, and Vendors to ensure the right materials are in the right place at the right time—without excess cost or downtime.

  • Develop, document, and enforce SOPs
