Recalibration Administrator
Collision & Glass • Walser Automotive Group
Full-time | $55,000–$65,000 / year | No prior experience required — we train you
Collision & Glass, an affiliate business of the Walser Automotive Group, specializes in autobody, dent, and glass repair. When a windshield is replaced, the cameras and sensors behind it — the ones that power today’s driver-assistance features like lane-keeping, automatic emergency braking, and adaptive cruise control — have to be recalibrated so they work exactly as the automaker intended. That’s where you come in.
As our Recalibration Administrator, you’ll keep this safety-critical work running smoothly: making sure every vehicle that needs a recalibration gets one, verifying it was completed correctly using our calibration system, and keeping the scheduling, documentation, and customer updates organized along the way. It’s a detail-driven role that helps keep drivers safe — and you don’t need any prior experience. If you’re organized, comfortable with technology, and eager to learn, we’ll teach you the rest.
Join a team that values craftsmanship, teamwork, and doing the job right the first time — that’s the Walser Way.
What You’ll Do
- Verify recalibrations are done right. Using our calibration system (fully trained on the job), confirm that windshield and ADAS recalibrations are completed correctly so features like lane-keeping, automatic emergency braking, and adaptive cruise control function as the manufacturer intended.
- Catch what needs calibrating. Identify which makes and models require recalibration and make sure no vehicle leaves without the work it needs.
- Schedule and coordinate. Line up recalibration appointments and keep work flowing smoothly between customers, technicians, and the shop.
- Keep the records straight. Maintain accurate documentation for every calibration, following OEM procedures and requirements.
- Handle day-to-day administration. Update the CRM, track job status, and keep customer information current and organized.
- Stay in touch with customers. Follow up on appointments, status, and next steps, and support outreach for service and maintenance reminders.
- Report on the numbers. Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reporting on key metrics using our shop systems.
- Partner with the team. Work closely with managers and technicians to keep jobs moving and ensure quality and completion.
- Uphold Walser’s Core Values: Do The Right Thing, Lead By Example, Display Positive Energy, Be Open Minded.
