Summary
Ensure accurate distribution of VPC Throw In's/Accessories on the VPC Lines by identifying the correct Throw In's/Accessories on the Bay Tag label.
Responsibilities
Ensure that the vehicle has the correct Bay Tag.
- Verify Bay Tag matches vehicle identification number
- Check Bay Tag and ensure correct Throw In's/Accessories are being placed in the correct vehicle
- Identify the correct Throw In's/Accessories by looking at the right column of the Bay Tag label
- The individual must be able to distinguish between vehicles by sight to determine what should be placed in that specific vehicle
Ensure VPC Throw In's/Accessories are being placed in the appropriate locations in the unit
- Retrieve correct Throw In's/Accessories from the storage bins
- Place the accessories in the appropriate locations in the unit
- Confirm adequate door protection is in plac and install if missing
Comply with all safety and policy standards
- Participate in daily startup meetings
- Actively participate in Safety Meetings
- Maintain a safe working environment and follow all company policies and procedures
- Perform other duties and tasks as needed and as instructed by leadership
Qualifications
Skills
- Automotive knowledge
- Knowledge of hand held electronics
- Drive both automatic and stick shift vehicles
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must be detail oriented and safety conscious
- Ability to read, write in English and follow verbal or written instructions
Education & Experience
- High School Diploma/G.E.D.
- 3 years experience preferred
- Must hold a clear MVR and valid State Issued Driver's License
