The VP Ventures Operations and Strategy, Danaher Ventures will be responsible for driving all facets of Danaher Ventures Operations, including Portfolio management, financial performance/reporting, facilitating partnership value creation between Danaher Ventures Portfolio companies and Operating companies. The DV associate will be also own creation and improvement of standard work for the investment process, portfolio M&A, contribute to strategic road mapping and execution of overall strategy to maximize impact of investments for Danaher. The role will provide broad exposure across Danaher science, technology, and transactional leadership as well as across DV portfolio companies and the surrounding innovation ecosystem.  
 

This position reports to the Vice President S&T Innovation, Head Equity Ventures and is part of the Danaher Ventures team and will be fully remote.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Own Danaher Ventures operations to drive portfolio performance, facilitate partnership value creation and tracking, build standard work to drive strategic alignment across ventures portfolio and annual strat., contribute to group and operating company strategy processes, support driving to M&A actionability, manage stakeholders across Operating companies and Corporate.
  • Partner with Global Ventures leader to maximize the impact of the Ventures team; Focus, map and present impact of AI driven innovation on Danaher Life Sciences; Build strategy chapters in areas of core focus. Manage Market work, strategy work alongside deal leads – compile, review, recommend next steps.
  • Identify gaps and implement counter measures. Build and sustain standard work best practices. Run weekly operations meeting, set agenda and execute consistently to improve performance and track all outstanding actions. Develop and optimize processes for translating learnings and related takeaways. Track and monito monthly KPIs for DHR Ventures group
  • Manage and Improve portfolio tracking systems and knowledge management tools including leveraging AI for portfolio management. Manage DV portfolio quarterly financial reporting, including analyzing portfolio financial performance, authoring quarterly portfolio performance reports. Fully track portfolio financial performance and implement processes to drive financial improvement, impact working with finance
  • Organize, document and run weekly funnel calls, monthly staff meetings, fortnightly investment committee meetings, steering committee, team offsites and more.
  • Organize and run Team Kaizens, PSPs, facilitate workshops with diverse audiences including corporate dev., BD, strat., and OpCo leadership.
  • Organize and lead compilation of monthly newsletters, quarterly portfolio reviews, annual general meetings, open days, board materials & consents. Design and implement outward messaging and communications strategy. Establish best communication practices and content. Identify lessons learned and create and log presentations from ops reviews

The essential requirements of the job include:  

  • MBA, PhD, and/or CFA with industry experience in life sciences, diagnostics, or healthcare.
  • 15+ years of industry experience delivering value across venture‑backed and large, complex organizations.
  • 7+ years of experience in healthcare consulting or life sciences organizations, leading operational roles across business functions, portfolio operations, and financial analysis.
  • Proven ability to identify operational challenges, design scalable processes leveraging DBS, and drive execution at the portfolio and operating company level.
  • Highly organized, analytical problem solver with the ability to manage multiple priorities and synthesize complex data into clear, actionable insights.

The annual salary range for this role is . This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
