Overall Purpose
Our Vice President, Total Rewards provides overall strategic oversight and guidance for the company's approach to compensation and benefits programs. Reporting to the Chief People Officer (CPO), the VP will develop and implement compensation programs including salary, bonus, and incentive plans, as well as benefit and wellness programs, and mobility. This role is a player-coach role that not only leads a team of specialist but is accountable for execution of key deliverables.
Essential Functions

Own and evolve our Total Rewards programs targeted at developing a world-class employee experience and a market competitive position that attracts and retains the industry’s best talent

Design and recommend benefits programs including health and wellness, life and disability, and retirement programs by assessing needs, reviewing competitor and general industry practices, and analyzing cost impact/effectiveness

Oversee the development and management of compensation programs, including job architecture framework, merit and other salary increases, executive compensation, bonus structures, wage and competitive data/market practices, and incentive programs

Coordinate preparation of executive compensation materials for the Compensation Committee and the Management Committee

Lead a high performing team that owns the outcome of the Total Rewards program effectiveness

In partnership with the People Team and leadership, oversee the development and management of thoughtful, scalable, total rewards programs

Partner with the People team to advise and influence business leaders in compensation strategy, programs and issues

Develop and coordinate communication strategies and activities designed to educate and inform employees and managers on total rewards

Support the company’s commitment to risk management and protecting the integrity and confidentiality of systems and data
Minimum Qualifications
-
Education and experience typically obtained through completion of a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field

15 or more years of relevant experience in compensation and benefits strategy development, planning and implementation combined experience

Experience with effectively scaling a rewards function to support the company’s business goals and growth, with focus and awareness of best practices

Expertise in development of strategy and administration of compensation and benefits

Comfort with multiple modalities of communication and public speaking

Executive compensation/Compensation Committee and incentive planning experience

Proven leadership skills as a business partner with the ability to interact successfully with all departments and levels; desire to lead and drive, as well as work hands on and independently

Possesses a passion for analytical, mathematical, statistical and conceptual skills; Excel expertise is required

Comfortable navigating ambiguity and thrives in a rapidly changing, fast-paced environment

Physical Requirements
Working conditions consist of a normal office environment. Work is primarily sedentary and requires extensive use of a computer and involves sitting for periods of approximately four hours. Work may require occasional standing, walking, kneeling and reaching. Must be able to lift 10 pounds occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently. Requires visual acuity and dexterity to view, prepare, and manipulate documents and office equipment including personal computers. Requires the ability to communicate with internal and/or external customers.
