Job Title

VP, Tech Sales Leader

About your role:
This crucial role at Fiserv involves developing and identifying potential and future pipeline sales opportunities for target accounts that significantly impact the long-term success of the business unit and company overall. You will be responsible for developing sales strategies, solution approaches, deal structures, and contract negotiations for the largest and most complex pursuits. Your objective will be to streamline the deal process, achieve a higher win rate, accelerate profitable revenue, and enhance the client experience in doing business with Fiserv.

What you'll do:

  • Develop a strong understanding of client business drivers, strategies, and market positions.
  • Build and execute long-term client relationships at the C-level and act as a trusted advisor to senior executives.
  • Collaborate with Fiserv business units to realize revenue growth, client value, and satisfaction.
  • Structure and lead large bundled pan-Fiserv deals.
  • Supervise, develop, motivate, and mentor sales staff, administer compensation, assess performance, and execute action plans.
  • Provide guidance and eliminate obstacles in high-priority opportunities to ensure pursuit teams are successful in closing contracts.
  • Model and practice the Fiserv Way of Selling philosophies and skillsets.
  • Provide thought leadership around key market and industry insights.

Experience you'll need to have:

  • 12+ years of experience in Financial Services/Banking, business negotiations with large complex deals in the technology industry, delivery, sales and account management.
  • 12+ years of experience in developing sales strategies.
  • 12+ years of experience in implementing solution approaches.
  • 12+ years of experience in managing contract negotiations.
  • 12+ years of experience with technology products or services.
  • 12+ years of equivalent combination of educational background, related experience, and/or military experience.

Experience that would be great to have:

  • Previous leadership in pursuit management and client engagement.
  • Proven track record in managing and expanding executive-level client relationships.
  • Deep understanding of competitive market trends and strategic partner relationships.
  • Prior experience in a large, matrix organization.
  • Master's degree in a related field.

Salary Range

$140,900.00 - $251,700.00

These pay ranges apply to employees in New York and California. Pay ranges for employees in other states may differ.
