They are looking for VP - Projects and Trade Finance for their Nigeria office.
Job Description
• Project & Trade Finance Origination with all major commercial & development banks in Nigeria and West Africa (Afriexim Bank, African Development Bank, NEXIM, Bank of Industries etc.)
• Financing Strategy (Development, Execution and Advisory) in Nigeria, Deal Origination and Coverage, Deal Structuring and Execution, Debt Capital Market, Loan Syndication, Transactional Banking, FX Management, and Portfolio Management, across major banks in Nigeria, backed by strong commercial and business acumen.
• Finance Operations with Lenders / Banks / Investors etc.
• Manage Balance Sheet Ratio’s in collaboration with Accounts and Auditors
• Training and guidance of finance staff
• Contact and expand facilities for funding and other financial matter maintain banking and investors relationships
• Discounting and costs of LCs in collaboration with Operations
• Manage data information for KYC and corporate matter
• Develop and maintain finance policies and procedures
• Advise on Risk Management elements
• Training and guidance of finance staff
• Participate in ad-hoc projects
Desired Candidate
• Minimum 20 Years of experience in banking industry.
• Chartered Accountant (CA, ACCA) + Master’s Degree in Finance or Accounting / MBA in Finance- Preferred.
• Strong technical accounting knowledge
• Excel and Financial modelling
• Creating statutory accounts
• Produced budgets up to multi-millions USD
• Experience of running annual audits
Skills Required
- Minimum 20 Years of experience in banking industry
- Chartered Accountant (CA, ACCA) + Master's Degree in Finance or Accounting / MBA in Finance
- Strong technical accounting knowledge
- Excel and Financial modelling expertise
- Experience of running annual audits
