We are seeking a vice president (VP) Program Manager to oversee and drive our multi-year Service Talent Transformation Program (STTP). Service is the number one correlated driver of Advisor satisfaction, and getting service right, in both quality and efficiency, is one of the firm's top priorities.
Our Service team, which sits within LPL’s Client Success organization, is comprised of over 1,300 frontline staff and leaders responsible for delivering exceptional day-to-day support, guidance, and protection to LPL’s network of independent advisors, institutions, and staff. The STTP is designed to explore every possibility for up-leveling the quality of support we provide in a way that is highly scalable, supports the dynamic growth of our clientele, and leverages leading-edge technology in a way to create extraordinary value.
Job Overview:
The VP Program Manager will lead a multi-year and all-encompassing multi-workstream program that transforms hiring, onboarding, training, compensation and incentives, organizational design, and performance management for our large and growing Service department. The VP will be the directly responsible individual (DRI) for ensuring strong execution across all workstreams as well as providing day-to-day thought leadership to workstream leads and cross-functional support partners.
Future opportunities for an individual successful in this role include continued large program strategic leadership, Service leadership, and other program leader opportunities in the talent and human resources areas.
Responsibilities:
- Provide thought leadership and refine and maintain the vision for the Service Talent Transformation Program in partnership with Service Leadership and Human Resources.
- Be directly responsible for creating the operating structure and reporting guidelines for all levels of program execution including Steer Co, Advisory Board, and Workstream levels.
- Oversee and provide hands-on support to all Work Stream Leads, driving accountability for execution, assisting in navigating complexities, and escalating key decision points.
- Manage cross-workstream and cross-functional forums to ensure leverage points are identified, resource prioritization is routinely reviewed, proper sequencing of work is created, and problems are resolved.
- Develop and deliver executive-ready program status communications (Steer Co, MC, and board-level presentation opportunities are in scope for this role). Telling the story of Service Talent Transformation effectively to ensure continued senior support for progress and investment.
- Responsible for overall program effectiveness in terms of scope, delivery, and budget.
- Continuously scan the horizon for best practices and ideas from industry forums, peer benchmarking, and competitive analysis.

Requirements:
- 10+ years of experience in financial services driving large-scale transformational initiatives; management consulting experience also valued

- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to partner effectively with various levels within the organization and influence key decisions
- Ability to build presentations that convey a clear story supported by data findings
- Comfortable in ambiguous situations – self-starter and self-learner
- Multi-tasking skills with the ability to manage complex deliverables and meet strict deadlines
- Exceptional program management skills and attention to detail, along with high levels of emotional intelligence
Preferences:
- Scrum master credentials are preferred.

Pay Range:
$122,800.00 - $204,600.00
Actual base salary varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
