Origin is a fast-paced Series B startup led by repeat founders and backed by leading investors including Felicis, 01A, and General Catalyst.

We are looking for a relentless, naturally curious, self starter to lead the product and designs organizations at Origin. This role leads both our core tracking and services product teams as well as our design organization. You will report to and work closely with the CEO on core product strategy as well as drive execution of the company vision and roadmap.

Your mission is to deliver the first AI native financial services company built for the mass market. We aspire to be the single platform that consumers use to track their money, get expert level guidance and execute their financial needs.

This is a high impact role that builds the heart of Origin and sets the standard for modern financial guidance.

• Execution: You are a player coach. You want to be a player but you've been forced into management due to your career success. Management is something you do because you've had to as you've advance in your career, but if you had it your way, you would be building, building, building.
• Numbers: You know numbers cold. Funnels, Retention, Upsell. You think about these numbers constantly in the context of how product decisions impact and improve them. You innately understand the power of understanding the numbers and the associated impact on product decisions.

Responsibilities

Core Ownership

• Build and scale the core product experiences that Origin members rely on every day
• Lead product strategy and execution for Origin’s full platform including spending, investing, AI, and soon to come financial services.
• Create a cohesive strategy that ties together cash flow, investments, and home finances into a single, clear picture of a member’s financial life

Must Have

• 6+ years of product management experience - primarily building direct to consumer products
• Proven success owning or shipping core fintech, or other large scale data driven products
• Demonstrated ability to set product strategy, lead teams, and deliver measurable business outcomes
• Experience working closely with engineering, data science, design, and AI teams
• Excellent communication and storytelling skills, especially around complex financial concepts

Nice to Have

• Experience building AI powered features or working with LLM based systems
• Background in personal finance, investing, or financial planning tools
• Experience in high growth startup environments or zero to one product building
• Graduate degree in business, computer science, data science, or a related field
