What you'll do:

In the capacity of Vice President Non-Bank Financial Institutions Credit Analyst based in London, you will assume a pivotal role overseeing credit work pertaining to NBFIs across developed economies. Your daily responsibilities will encompass conducting comprehensive credit analysis on live transactions and annual reviews whilst maintaining close collaboration with relationship bankers. You will lead new client approvals by setting prudent credit appetite levels and negotiating terms that ensure effective risk mitigation. Structuring both syndicated and bilateral loans will require your scrupulous attention as you navigate complex documentation requirements. Engagement in high-profile cases will necessitate rapid identification of key risks followed by clear communication to stakeholders. Furthermore, you will contribute to departmental success by supporting junior colleagues’ development through training initiatives. Analysing market trends and regulatory changes will be essential as you report significant impacts to senior management. Your ability to interpret stress testing results will inform strategic decisions at various levels within the portfolio. * Supervise all facets of Non-Bank Financial Institution-related credit work and workflow control, including Credit Application and Borrower Rating commitments for a broad portfolio.

* Conduct forward-looking fundamental credit assessments on live transactions, limit renewals, and annual reviews whilst collaborating with relationship bankers and product partners.

* Lead new client approvals by establishing credit appetite, limits, ratings; performing due diligence calls or visits; and drafting or negotiating credit terms for legal documentation.

* Structure, negotiate, and document new syndicated loans as well as bilateral loan transactions with meticulous attention to detail.

* Participate in complex or high-profile credit cases by swiftly identifying key issues, communicating salient points to stakeholders, and evaluating risk-reward trade-offs.

* Manage multiple priorities efficiently in a dynamic environment while ensuring adherence to internal rules and reporting procedures.

* Support the Head of FI Credit Analysis Department in training, supervising, and nurturing junior team members through knowledge sharing initiatives.

* Assist with other team workflow on the Financial Institutions side as required or appropriate to maintain departmental cohesion.

* Analyse economic, market, regulatory, industry events or developments to assess their impact on the portfolio; report relevant findings to senior risk management.

* Interpret stress testing results at counterparty, country or industry level and take appropriate actions based on analytical insights.
