JOB PURPOSE:
The Vice President of the Transformation Office is a critical leadership role within the Global Technology function, tasked with spearheading our transformation efforts across the organization. This role encompasses Project Management Office (PMO), change management, technology finance, and building the agile and cross functional ways of working while ensuring that strategic projects and initiatives align with our business goals and are executed efficiently with right prioritization and sequencing. This leader will be a strategic member of the Global Technology Senior Leadership Team (GT SLT) and will partner with other tech SLT members to drive the strategic digital agenda for the company. The VP of the Transformation Office will work closely with key stakeholders across the business to drive innovation and operational excellence. This position reports directly to the Chief Technology & Information Officer and plays a vital role in shaping the technological future of our company and how we scale and drive agility in ways of working.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Define and lead the strategic direction for technology-driven transformation initiatives, ensuring alignment with the company's overall business strategy. Will drive prioritization of technology initiatives with other enterprise and regional programs to assess business readiness impact and resourcing needs.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive change management strategies to facilitate smooth transitions and ensure widespread adoption of new technologies and processes.
  • Lead the Project Management Office, setting standards for project management practices and ensuring successful delivery of projects on time, within scope, and on budget.
  • Build the agile ways of working vision, methodologies, playbooks and tools to accelerate how technology and other cross functional programs are delivered within the company
  • Playing a critical role in defining the tone for technology delivery success at McCain, driving a strong linkage from multi-year plans to driving execution plans and build strong governance and value delivery.
  • Manage and develop a high-performing team, fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement. Will work closely with HR team in talent readiness and development
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across the business, acting as a trusted advisor and ensuring technology initiatives are closely aligned with business needs.
  • Champion the adoption of innovative technologies and best practices within the organization to drive efficiency, competitiveness, and growth.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with technology and transformation projects, ensuring the organization's resilience and operational continuity.
  • Leading multi-disciplined teams and functions to deliver cross-team capability across areas associated with the complex management of the over 100+ Programs/projects including operational governance, vendor management, Technology assurance, talent development, GT communications and Brand management.

KEY QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCES REQUIRED:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 15 years of experience in a senior technology leadership role, with a proven track record of leading transformation in a global CPG or manufacturing environment.
  • Demonstrated experience in building technology strategy, managing change, technology finance, leading PMO, Agile and Product transformation and agile funding models.
  • This leader will work with regional teams to ensure initiatives are properly planned, prioritized and linked to business strategies and regional business priorities
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and drive performance in a global team.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, capable of engaging with executives and cross - functional teams.
  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving ability. A high energy, fast-paced mindset with strong emotional intelligence and an assertive style
  • Exceptional leadership and influencing skills given the multiplicity of stakeholders across GT and broader business stakeholders within functions and regions
  • Ability to create and articulate a common purpose and exceptional communication skills to convey complex strategies, plans, decisions, and messages
  • A passion for developing people and culture and attracting and retaining best in class talent. Partner closely with the HR team in building and scaling Global Tech Centers and focused learning plans in support of key priorities of digital transformation
  • Deep understanding of the latest technology trends and their applications in improving business outcomes.
  • The ability to set clear and challenging goals while committing the organization to improved performance; tenacious and accountable in driving results. Comfortable with ambiguity and uncertainty; the ability to adapt nimbly and lead others through complex situations.
  • A risk-taker who seeks data and input from others to foresee possible threats or unintended circumstances from decisions; someone who takes smart risks.
