McCain Foods is seeking a Senior Brand Manager, Innovation to join our growing team!
Reporting to the Director, Marketing Innovation, the position of Senior Brand Manager is responsible for shaping & delivering a strategic innovation roadmap.
Responsibilities include: • Primary liaison with Brand Team to define longer term 'where to play' spaces grounded in foresight analysis and founded in a holistic strategic rationale• Develop scale product platforms rooted in Demand Space unmet needs, with an ownable right to win and with a rich pipeline of ideas• Build a funnel with sufficiency & quality of ideas that yields a steady pace of innovation news to deliver in-market financial expectations• Partner with senior cross functional leaders to drive continuous improvement of the innovation process and ways of working to improve our success rate
What will make you successful in this role: • Minimum 7 years of brand management experience with a background in consumer products goods• Ownership of brand or pipeline strategy for a distinct business segment• Knowledge and Experience with foundational consumer landscapes• Comfortable managing a complex P&L• Successfully influence without authority of high profile stakeholders• Leadership of cross functional teams and projects with ambiguity and complexity• Adept with Stage-Gate process to drive decision-making with gatekeepers• Excellent written and oral communication skills (including strong presentation skills), analytical ability, independent decision making and business vision• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)• Passion for, and understanding of, food industry preferred
