Seneca Holdings is seeking a VP of Information Technology, Security and Compliance (ITSC) for Seneca Holdings. The VP of ITSC will be responsible for the design, development, and implementation of the company’s IT systems, software, and infrastructure. They also manage IT infrastructure, build and lead ITSC team, and ensure cybersecurity. They will lead the company’s information technology strategy and align technology solutions with business goals to enhance overall organizational performance. This will include overseeing the planning, development, implementation, maintenance, and security of IT assets within the company’s growing portfolio of companies.
Roles and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Develop and implement comprehensive ITSC strategies aligned with business objectives in collaboration with company leadership.
- Ensure technology investments drive competitive advantage and long-term value.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and industry trends to determine their potential impact on the organization and make recommendations to the executive team on any new software/technology necessary to help the company meet its organizational goals
- Collaborate closely with other departments to understand their ITSC requirements, needs and preferences and oversee the installation of these systems accordingly.
- Ensure all digital company information and records are secure. In particular, the VP of ITSC will have responsibility and oversight of ITSC solutions in regulated environments, including maintenance and integration of systems, as well as, all Corporate IT staff, activities, planning and functions
- Direct and coordinate internal/external professional services such as systems analysis and design, feasibility studies, and programming of information, communication, and office automation systems.
- Lead the development and implementation of tools, systems, processes, and technical standards that support the company’s technology infrastructure planning and data management strategies.
- Establish processes and procedures for ITSC purchases for the organization
- Monitor and report on progress on development projects, resource utilization, and production performance to executive leadership.
- Ensure the security of technology systems and processes as well as sensitive proprietary and confidential data relating to our customers.
- Maintain pace with technological progress, economic change, and company needs by directing continual improvements of IS staff, equipment, and procedures.
- Prepare, implement, and execute the IT budget.
- Oversee IT software and hardware assets are proactively tracked, monitored, and maintained.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Fifteen+ (15) years of Information Technology experience.
- Proven experience developing strategy for enterprise application architecture and data management, including developing strategy for reporting improvements and systems integration.
- 7+ years of IT management/leadership experience.
- Excellent organizational and decision-making skills and attention to detail.
- Understanding of Microsoft infrastructure (Office365).
- Understanding and familiarity of Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC)requirements.
- Knowledge of cyber security best practices and emerging trends.
- Familiarity with corporate HR, financial, and other applications such as Deltek, Costpoint, and ADP
- Working experience in federal government environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to identify problems, collect data, analyze information, and evaluate results to decide the best solution to problems
- Thorough understanding of corporate policies and procedures.
- Experience planning for enterprise data management/reporting initiatives.
- Experience with in-house/corporate IT for a federal government contractor.
- Experience with, and a desire to work in a fast-paced environment for a growing firm.
