- Recommend and implement a major transformation effort in the areas of third-party supplier relationship and risk management, with a particular focus on enhanced governance and operating model between SSG and Broadridge’s businesses and key suppliers, skills upgrading, process efficiencies, and enhanced technology and infrastructure leverage – in line with best practices.
- Build strong partnership with key stakeholders to influence and strategically promote and manage Vendor Performance Management’s and TPRM’s process.
- Lead and own the day-to day-activities and socialization of new happenings within the team.
- Manage and lead pipeline of projects, as well as complex supply management projects.
- Establish, promote, and ensure enterprise-wide adherence to standardized and consistent processes and methodologies to managing third party supplier relationships.
- Administer the monitoring and reporting of vendor metrics, and ensure adherence to internal policy and external regulatory requirements.
- Lead analysis of data and industry trends to identify business and risk improvement opportunities that coincide with the business.
- Gather stakeholder and subject-matter business requirements to ensure vendor development and risk management strategies/solutions meet business needs.
- Provide thought leadership and best practices around data analysis of supplier performance, tiering, and risk profiles across major areas.
- Create and review implementation and transition plans that support change management initiatives around supplier development and risk mitigation.
- Lead large projects with support from the team, and independently serve as an intermediary between stakeholder and subject matter experts for high-risk vendors and other escalation issues.
- Drive and lead remediation activities and document actions taken.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree.
- Minimum of 10+ years of experience in Supplier Management and Cyber, Technology, or Risk and Controls.
- Demonstrated knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards related to third party management.
- Proven in-depth experience in transforming and managing both third-party performance and risk Management.
- Ability to define and execute an impactful vision and strategy that is adequately to varying company cultures.
- Skilled with identifying clear and actionable goals, establishing priorities, and achieving measurable results.
- Keen organization and work prioritization abilities.
- Comfortable in a dynamic environment and willing to adjust priority as advised by leadership and business requirement.
- Self-motivated individual that demonstrates initiative with proven flexibility, adaptability, and reliability.
- Must have ability to be tactful yet assertive. Ability to educate and achieve consensus.
- Highly organized and detail oriented with a structured/analytical approach to problem solving.
