As a VP & GM I, you will be responsible for overall sales and profitability of s business segment, including business development, pricing, and marketing.
Responsibilities:
- Develop high quality business strategies and plans ensuring their alignment with short-term and long-term objectives.
- Oversee all operations and business activities to ensure operational excellence and production of the desired results consistent with the overall strategy and mission.
- Make high-quality decisions to advance the business and increase profits through analyzing customer business needs and designing solutions that will grow revenue and market share while maximizing engagement.
- Develop and implement effective sales channel and go-to-market strategies to capture attractive market opportunities and drive profitable growth.
- Develop strategic and tactical goals and objectives, review revenues and costs, and coordinate operations throughout accounts.
- Mentor and develop leaders to advance employee engagement and develop a high performing team.
- Effectively negotiate new and renewal customer agreements, while representing the organizations objectives and ensuring win/win scenarios and strengthened customer relationships through the contracting process.
- Work cross functionally to optimize results, retain and develop employees, improve processes, and effectively use tools and technology to enable sales team performance.
- Regularly report to senior leadership on KPIs, risks, opportunities and new developments.
- Develop management protocols and accountabilities to ensure the timely and thorough execution of sales strategies and ensure coordination and integration with broader corporate goals and objectives.
- Enforce adherence to legal guidelines and in-house policies to maintain the company’s legality and business ethics.
Qualifications:
- 12–15 years General Management/Sales experience.
- 7 years experience in a Sales leadership position.
- 4 years experience working in a selling role.
- In-depth knowledge of selling strategies and methods, as well as employee motivation techniques.
- Experience in developing profitable strategies and implementing vision.
- Strong working knowledge of the company's products, competitive products, and the market
- Ability to travel 25% - 50%
